In this paper recently published in the official journal of the Hungarian Society of Neurologists, the authors discuss neurological signs and symptoms in COVID-19 patients; the effects of COVID-19 on services for other acute diseases; and changes in the care for patients with chronic neurological disorders.
Moreover, the authors underline that tasks for the future will be to estimate the collateral damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the outcome of other neurological disorders, and to screen for possible late neurological complications of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection.
