Brain Health Summit 2023
European Brain Health Summit 2023
Tuesday May 9, 2023, 17.00 – 20.00 CEST
The European Academy of Neurology (EAN) successfully held two first Brain Health events in 2022: The Brain Health Summit in May in Vienna and the Brain Health Event at the European Parliament in December. Both events highlighted the importance of advocacy for neurology, alongside cooperation with national societies, international authorities, organisations, and other stakeholders.
On 9 May 2023, The European Academy of Neurology organized another successful Brain Health Summit, that brought together international voices to raise the brain health awareness and to provide an opportunity for international dialogue and collaboration between the key stakeholders.
The overarching topic was ‘Precision Neurology and Prevention of Neurological Diseases’ and was covered from different perspectives, starting with patients, continuing with insightful presentations from the experts and ending with an interesting discussion about precision neurology and the importance of brain health for everyone.
At the beginning of the Brain Health Summit, President of the European Academy of Neurology announced a new initiative: Brain Health Mission. With the slogan: One Brain. One Life. One Mission, its main goal is to ensure a basic understanding of how to make optimal brain health available to the public through all stages of their lives. The Brain Health Mission is about working together to create a brighter future for all of us, and we invite you to join us on this journey towards healthy brains.
