Brain Health Summit November 2023
Brain Disorders: The Neglected Burden in Non-Communicable Diseases
16 November 2023
Brain health requires the prevention and treatment of numerous brain disorders that collectively cause massive burden. Yet Brain Health is neglected in non-communicable diseases (NCDs) polices diminishing investment and action. The Brain Health Summit will highlight the importance of Brain Health and advocate for its incorporation into European healthcare policies.
Our mission is to emphasize the critical importance of brain and neurological health in our collective efforts against NCDs. We aim to unite diverse experts in the field of brain and neurological health to spark meaningful dialogue and instigate actionable change, and we invite you to join us as we explore the potential of a comprehensive approach to brain health, aiming to bolster public health across Europe and beyond.
The Summit is organized by the EAN and held under the umbrella of the Brain Health Mission - an initiative dedicated to fostering global support for individuals to prioritize their brain health. Embracing a unifying slogan: One Brain. One Life. One Mission, its main goal is to ensure a basic understanding of how to make optimal brain health accessible to the public through all stages of their lives, improve systems for those who live under unfair circumstances, and push for equal education opportunities for doctors.
The event is specifically tailored to engage and benefit the following target audience: individuals and communities worldwide who are eager to enhance and prioritize their brain health, healthcare professionals seeking to advance their knowledge, politicians, opinion leaders, and advocates for equal education and improved systems for underserved populations.
