Bursaries
The 6th Congress of the EAN offers up to 240 bursaries consisting of free registration to the congress and up to four nights of hotel accommodation.
Eligibility
Eligible are EAN Resident and Research Members in good standing from EAN member countries. For further information, please check our RRFS membership package here. Kindly note that membership application is sufficient at this stage and you can submit your bursary application before having received your membership certificate.
It is also possible for RRFS members from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauretania, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia as well as from sub-Saharan countries belonging to the HINARI Group A list of countries as established by WHO (www.who.int/hinari/eligibility/en/) to apply for bursaries.
Application
Please indicate your bursary application during abstract submission. Applications for bursaries will only be considered if submitted by the time of the abstract submission deadline. Please keep in mind that only one bursary per abstract will be awarded and the bursary will be awarded to the presenting author.
Selection
Bursary recipients will be selected on the basis of abstract evaluation by the Programme Committee.
Applicants who have been granted a bursary will be informed before elapse of the early registration fee deadline.
The prize is not transferable and will not be paid off in cash.
Who can join as a Resident & Research Member?
- Residents/neurologists in training
- Research Fellows
- PhD students in Neurology
- The abovementioned three groups up to a maximum of 3 years beyond their latest degree (MD, PhD)
